Key Responsibilities:

As a Cardiac Catheterization Technologist, you will be responsible for:

  • Preparing examination areas for patient procedures.
  • Administering necessary radiopharmaceuticals to ensure high-quality imaging.
  • Positioning patients and equipment, clearly explaining procedures, and ensuring patient comfort throughout.
  • Inputting commands and data into the computer system to document scan sequences, while monitoring video displays to adjust image quality.
  • Monitoring patient safety during examinations and adhering to protocols to minimize radiation exposure.
  • Producing diagnostic images and communicating critical information to the physician, while maintaining accurate patient records.
  • Coordinating daily procedure schedules and managing radiographic supplies efficiently.
  • Handling administrative duties, including responding to technical inquiries, scheduling appointments, and providing pre-procedure guidance.
  • Conducting routine maintenance and emergency repairs on radiographic equipment.
