We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Construction Commissioning Support to join our team at Wanzek Construction. As a key member of our commissioning team, you will assist in the planning, installation, testing, and repair of construction-related systems and components.

• Assist in the planning and layout of construction projects, ensuring compliance with plans, specifications, and industry standards.
• Use hand and power tools to install and repair various materials and components, working under the supervision of experienced craft workers.
• Measure, cut, and bend materials with varying degrees of supervision, ensuring accuracy and quality.
• Assist in the installation or repair of fixtures, apparatus, and equipment, following established safety protocols.
• Participate in on-the-job training and mentoring opportunities to develop skills and knowledge in construction commissioning.
• Collaborate with other crafts and coworkers to ensure seamless project execution.
• Perform quality control checks to ensure that work meets requirements and industry standards.
• Assist in the identification and mitigation of safety hazards, participating in safety-related processes and programs.
• Report any accidents or near-misses to supervisors, participating in investigation processes as needed.
• Comply with Company Code of Conduct and jobsite policies, promoting a safe and healthy work environment.

• High school diploma or equivalent required; experience working in construction or a related field preferred.
• Ability to work well under pressure, meeting deadlines and timelines.
• Developing knowledge in construction commissioning, including fabrication, installation, and maintenance of construction components and systems.
• Ability to understand and follow directions, with a focus on safety and quality.
• Proficient in basic math skills, including computation of numbers, reading scales, and using simple fractions.
