RN Neuro ICU Stepdown Nurse

Mercy Ft Smith is expanding its ER and ICU to better meet the needs of our community in a world-class environment. The ER will expand from 29 to 50 rooms, and the ICU will increase from 38 to 64 rooms, allowing for about 25,000 more patient visits per year.
Responsibilities- Utilize the nursing process to provide patient care and maintain professional accountability for provision of patient care for assigned patients.
- Evaluate the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers and coordinate patient care in conjunction with other departments.
- Maintain patient rights and confidentiality of patient information.
- 1+ Years Experienced Nurse Sign on Bonus up to $10,000 for select departments.
- Relocation Assistance up to $3,000 per policy.

- Required Education: Graduated from a school of nursing (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN).
- Licensure: Is personally responsible for obtaining, and maintaining, a current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure in which nursing duties are performed and must meet all state board of nursing requirements.
- Certifications: Must have American Heart Association Healthcare Provider card or complete a course within probationary period. Must have ACLS and BLS or obtain within 90 days of hire.
