Job Summary:
Hamm Clinic is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Psychotherapist II to join our team. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide psychotherapy services to adults, utilizing individual, couples, group, and/or family modalities. Your expertise will be instrumental in delivering high-quality care to our clients, while promoting a trauma-informed, equitable environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide psychotherapy services to adults, utilizing individual, couples, group, and/or family modalities.
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive client records, adhering to Hamm Clinic policies and regulatory requirements.
- Participate in multi-disciplinary team consultation meetings and other clinical/administrative meetings as required.
- Support the integration of culturally responsive, equitable care into all aspects of the organization.
- Provide trauma-informed care in a community mental health setting.
- Engage in collaborative community care, offering resource referral and support to clients with challenging mental health symptoms and systemic barriers.
- Observe and adhere to legal, ethical, and professional conduct practices, as mandated by your profession and local, state, and federal standards.
- Respond to client crises, working collaboratively with other departments or external support services as needed.
- Cover colleagues' cases in situations where immediate client needs arise.
- Provide clinical supervision within our interdisciplinary training program.
- Teach seminars to staff, professionals, and Hamm Clinic trainees.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in a discipline directly related to the position (e.g., MSW, MS, MA).
- Minnesota License or licensure eligibility to practice as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
- Strong psychotherapy skills, with experience working with diverse populations and presenting concerns.
- Integration of trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and equitable practice into clinical work.
- Intersectional lens, cultural humility, and awareness of own areas of privilege.
- Knowledge of issues and resources for community mental health populations.
- Strong interpersonal skills, including oral, written, and listening communication abilities.
- Ability to work within an evolving mental health environment, prioritizing a collaborative/team approach.
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations and documentation requirements for third-party payor billing.
- Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint, and OneDrive.
