About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Department team at Sierra Medical Center. As a per diem Registered Nurse, you will have the opportunity to work a varied and flexible schedule, providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Responsibilities
  • Provide professional nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department, coordinating care planning with other disciplines as needed.
  • Determine priorities of care based on physical and psychosocial needs of patients, as well as factors influencing patient flow through the system.
  • Communicate effectively with ED physicians regarding changes in patient status, symptomatology, and results of diagnostic studies.
  • Respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment.
Requirements
  • 2 years of Emergency Department experience required.
  • Current RN license within the state of practice.
  • Current BCLS Certification.
  • ACLS Certified within six (6) months of hire.
  • PALS within six (6) months of hire.
  • ENPC and TNCC optional.
