About the Job

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our team at Dubols Home Care. As an Occupational Therapy Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the recovery of our patients in the comfort of their own homes.

Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated and organized Occupational Therapy Assistant to provide high-quality care to our patients. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, and a passion for helping others.

Responsibilities
  • Schedule appointments and report on patient progress
  • Implement treatment plans and provide therapeutic activities in patients' homes
  • Drive to multiple appointments in patient homes each day
  • Instruct patients and their families in treatment programs
  • Monitor patients' performance and provide encouragement
  • Document patients' progress and maintain accurate records
  • Participate in continuing education classes and staff training
Requirements
  • Graduate from an ACOTE-accredited occupational therapy assistant program
  • Current license or certification as an Occupational Therapy Assistant in the State of Maryland
  • Compassionate with excellent interpersonal skills, communication skills, and healthy professional ethics and boundaries
  • Good working knowledge of occupational therapy practices, procedures, and legal regulations
  • Good organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Current driver's license and own car in good working condition
  • Proof of auto insurance
  • BLS certification
