Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Equipment Support Technician to join our team. As an Equipment Support Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing aerial devices and other equipment commonly used in the utility industries. Your primary focus will be on ensuring the functionality and reliability of our equipment, engines, and hydraulic systems.
Key Responsibilities- Inspect equipment, engines, transmissions, and other components to identify functionality issues and perform diagnostic tests.
- Conduct regular checks on lights, fluids, and tire pressure to ensure optimal performance.
- Clean and apply lubricants to machinery components to prevent wear and tear.
- Complete DOT annual inspections to ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes and filter replacements.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with colleagues and clients.
- Strong problem-solving abilities to troubleshoot equipment issues.
- High school diploma or equivalent; certification from a vocational school or completion of an apprenticeship is a plus.
- Ability to maintain a good attendance record and work effectively in a team environment.
- Physical ability to lift or carry 50 pounds.
