Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Behavioral Therapist to join our team at the University of Washington Autism Center. As a Behavioral Therapist, you will play a critical role in providing direct intervention to children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) in their homes and in clinic.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct 1:1 intervention to children with ASD, implementing intervention protocols developed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBA) to increase skills and reduce problem behaviors.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, utilizing principles of applied behavior analysis.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and support for children and families.

Requirements:

  • Two years of college-level coursework in a relevant academic area and two years of appropriate experience, or equivalent education/experience.
  • Training and experience in early intensive behavioral intervention for children with autism, early intervention for toddlers, developmental psychology, behavior analysis, special education, or related fields.
  • Ability and willingness to interact with children in a spontaneous and creative way.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to maintain accurate records.
