Key Responsibilities
  • Operational Oversight and Execution
    • Oversee daily operations on the production floor, ensuring smooth and efficient workflows.
    • Support the Logistics Manager by coordinating raw material handling and finished goods processes.
    • Monitor and manage the flow of materials and products, ensuring that production schedules are met without interruptions.
    • Utilize Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and MS Excel to track inventory movements and production progress.
    • Ensure that all equipment and machinery are functioning correctly and report any issues to the maintenance team immediately.
    • Assist in adjusting operational plans to accommodate changes in production needs or order volumes.
  • Team Supervision and Development
    • Lead and supervise a team of production and warehouse staff, ensuring high levels of productivity and accuracy.
    • Provide on-the-job training and coaching to team members, ensuring they understand and follow standard operating procedures.
    • Monitor team performance, providing feedback and implementing corrective actions when necessary to maintain efficiency.
    • Foster a collaborative and positive work environment, encouraging teamwork and open communication among staff.
  • Quality Control and Compliance
    • Ensure that all raw materials and finished goods meet the required quality standards before they are used in production or shipped to customers.
    • Enforce safety standards and policies, ensuring that all team members follow proper procedures to maintain a safe work environment.
    • Conduct regular inspections of the production area to ensure compliance with health regulations, OSHA standards, and company policies.
    • Maintain accurate records of safety checks, quality inspections, and any incidents that occur during the shift.
  • Communication and Coordination
    • Act as the primary point of contact between the production floor and Logistics Manager during the shift.
    • Communicate shift performance, issues, and any deviations from the production plan to the Logistics Manager and other relevant stakeholders.
    • Coordinate with other shift leaders to ensure a smooth transition between shifts and continuity of operations.
    • Provide updates on inventory levels, production status, and any potential bottlenecks that could impact the overall production schedule.
  • Record Keeping and Reporting
    • Maintain accurate records of shift activities, including production output, material usage, and any issues encountered.
    • Compile and present shift reports to the Logistics Manager, highlighting key performance indicators (KPIs) and areas for improvement.
    • Assist in developing and implementing data quality checks to ensure the accuracy and consistency of shift-related data.
    • Create and maintain dashboards to track shift performance metrics, providing insights to help optimize future operations.
    Requirements
    • High school diploma with extensive experience or higher degree required.
    • 5+ years of experience in a production or warehouse environment, with a focus on team leadership or supervisory roles.
    • Relevant industry knowledge, particularly in material handling, production, and inventory management.
    • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team in a fast-paced, shift-based environment.
    • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (PPT, Excel, Word) and experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and SAP.
    • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and make quick decisions to ensure operational continuity.
    • Korean Bilingual preferred.
    • Ability to Travel: up to 10% in the U.S.
    • Required to work on-site.
