Advanced Practice Provider - Women's Health Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Advanced Practice Provider to join our Women's and Infants service line at John Peter Smith Hospital. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide comprehensive women's health care services to our patients, including preventative care, prenatal/childbirth/postnatal care, menopause care, urogynecology, and gynecologic oncology evaluation and treatment.

Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with physicians to oversee and coordinate multidisciplinary care for patients.
  • Review patient medical charts to assist with diagnosis, treatment, and care management.
  • Make patient referrals as necessary.
  • Monitor guidelines for care management and ensure compliance with JPS Health Network and Acclaim Physician Group standards.
  • Provide care education to patients and families.
  • Deliver evidence-based and compassionate care to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction scores.
  • Maintain a collaborative environment with providers, clinical staff, and support staff.
  • Support academic, educational, and research endeavors.
  • Participate in Performance Improvement Programs and Peer Review committee meetings.
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience as a Women's Health Nurse Practitioner or Certified Nurse Midwife.
  • Master's Degree in Nursing from an accredited school of nursing.
  • Graduate of an accredited Women's Health Nurse Practitioner program.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Current national certification as a Certified Nurse Midwife by the American Midwifery Certification Board or American College of Nurse Midwives Certification Council.
Work Environment:

Monday-Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. Well woman, problem gynecology, and obstetrics. Diverse patient population with complicated conditions.
