Rosendin Electric is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Safety Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our employees, clients, and the communities we serve.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement EHS Programs: Design, implement, and administer comprehensive EHS programs that meet or exceed industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct Site Inspections and Audits: Regularly inspect and audit our work sites to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with EHS policies and procedures.
  • Provide Training and Education: Develop and deliver training programs to educate employees on EHS policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Investigate Incidents and Near Misses: Conduct thorough investigations of incidents and near misses to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with project managers, supervisors, and other stakeholders to ensure EHS considerations are integrated into project planning and execution.
  • Manage EHS Records and Reporting: Maintain accurate and up-to-date EHS records, including incident reports, training records, and regulatory compliance documentation.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health and Safety, Occupational Health and Safety, or a related field.
  • Experience: 0-6 months of experience with a bachelor's degree or 5 years of relevant experience with a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of EHS regulations, policies, and procedures; excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
