Position Summary
We are currently seeking a skilled Bodily Injury Claims Adjuster. The successful candidate will ideally have experience in managing claims related to auto, homeowner, or commercial liability. Familiarity with litigation processes is advantageous for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough investigations into all facets of bodily injury claims, including coverage, damages, and potential litigation, exercising sound judgment and independence.
- Utilize a solid understanding of insurance policies to navigate claims effectively.
- Assess potential for subrogation or fraud and determine appropriate handling strategies.
- Identify and address customer needs with exemplary service skills.
- Recognize vehicle components and assess related property damage.
- Collaborate with fraud and subrogation teams to optimize claim outcomes.
Qualifications:
Education: A bachelor’s degree is preferred, or equivalent professional experience.
Experience: A minimum of two years in a related field is required.
Licenses: Candidates must be able to obtain and maintain necessary adjuster licenses.
Skills:
- Strong customer service orientation.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Effective time management skills with a focus on comprehensive case management.
- Proficient analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify issues from various sources.
- Competence in Microsoft Word and Outlook.
