Job Title: Interim Tax Manager

Job Summary:
Aston Carter is seeking a highly skilled Interim Tax Manager to support our tax team during a busy period. This is a remote, three-month contract position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with a small US-based tax team and a larger international tax team to manage tax-related tasks.
  • Review current tax provisions, deferred tax modeling, and typical tax calculations.
  • Utilize OneSource OTP for pretax processes and export data for further analysis.
  • Address inventory-related tax issues and assist with transfer pricing.
  • Support IFRS and GAAP disclosures, including transitioning from IFRS to GAAP for financial reporting.
  • Work closely with external auditors, responding to inquiries and providing necessary assistance.
  • Focus on tax process improvements, particularly using Alteryx.

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience with IFRS.
  • Proven track record in tax process improvement, especially with Alteryx.
  • Background in public accounting.
  • Knowledge of UK tax regulations.
  • CPA certification required.
