Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Lead Pastry Artisan to join our culinary team at LaBelle Winery. This role involves overseeing the pastry section of our kitchen, managing staff, and maintaining high-quality standards.

About the Role
  • Create innovative dessert menus and recipes in collaboration with our chefs
  • Supervise and train pastry assistants to ensure exceptional presentation and quality
  • Maintain a clean and organized bakery area, adhering to health and safety regulations
  • Source ingredients and supplies, manage inventory, and maintain accurate records
  • Work closely with the management team to develop marketing strategies and promotions
  • Participate in menu planning and wine pairing events
Requirements
  • 4+ years of experience as a Pastry Chef in a reputable establishment
  • Certificate in Culinary Arts or related field
  • Strong passion for food design, creativity, and teamwork
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
Working Conditions
  • Full-time position, weekends/holidays/days
  • 59-60k annually based on experience
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, lift 50lbs occasionally, and climb stairs
