We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Travel Nurse RN to provide exceptional care to patients undergoing outpatient surgical procedures, inpatient and outpatient GI and Bronchoscopy procedures at UW Health University Hospital.
Key Responsibilities- Provide preoperative and postoperative care to patients undergoing GI and Bronchoscopy procedures, including moderate sedation and recovery.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to establish goals and strategies for meeting the discharge or continuing care needs of patients, families, and other care providers.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify patient needs and develop effective care strategies.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Current WI nursing license or compact license from the permanent address state.
- BLS and ACLS certification through the American Heart Association.
- Recent experience in recovering sedated GI and pulmonary procedures, including ERCP, EUS, EGD, Colonoscopy, endoscopy/Bronchoscopy.
- Basic Arrhythmia experience.
- Ability to pass UW Health Telemetry test prior to starting.
- Flexibility to float to multiple units, depending on staffing needs.
