Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Automotive Mechanic to join our team at Morrie's West Bend Honda. As a key member of our service department, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing complex problems with vehicle systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair problems with engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, and similar systems.
- Test systems and components to ensure they are secure and functioning properly.
- Drive vehicles for testing purposes or use diagnostic computers to identify issues.
- Maintain efficiency and accuracy in diagnosing and repairing vehicles.
- Follow checklists to ensure thorough examination of critical vehicle parts.
- Inspect parts like hoses, belts, plugs, fuel systems, brakes, and other potential trouble spots.
- Use power tools like pneumatic wrenches to remove bolts quickly and easily.
- Use machine tools like grinding machines and lathes to rebuild brakes.
- Use hand tools like screwdrivers, wrenches, and pliers to work on small-scale parts.
- Write vehicle damage repair estimates.

Requirements:
- Able to work flexible hours and on Saturdays.
- A clean driving record and a valid driver's license.
- Working knowledge of cars highly preferred.
- Ability to pass background check.
