Position Overview

The Chef Tournant is responsible for preparing a variety of dishes in accordance with established recipes and quality standards. This role requires a keen attention to detail and a commitment to excellence in food presentation and preparation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare ingredients for cooking, including portioning, chopping, and storing food items.
  • Wash and peel fresh produce, ensuring quality and freshness.
  • Measure and mix ingredients accurately to create delicious meals.
  • Cook food according to recipes and quality standards, ensuring proper cooking techniques are followed.
  • Operate kitchen equipment such as ovens, stoves, grills, and fryers safely and efficiently.
  • Monitor food quality during preparation and cooking processes.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workstation, adhering to health and safety regulations.
  • Serve food in appropriate portions and ensure proper presentation.
  • Disinfect kitchen areas, tools, and equipment regularly.
  • Report any maintenance needs or safety concerns to management promptly.

Qualifications

Education: High school diploma or equivalent.

Experience: Minimum of 1 year in a culinary role.
