Job Summary:

The Occupational Therapist will evaluate participants' level of function, develop and implement treatment plans, and provide education and support to participants and their families. You will work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to ensure that our participants receive comprehensive care and support.

Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate participants' level of function and develop treatment plans to improve their physical and mental functioning
  • Provide occupational therapy services, including training, exercise, and assistive device recommendations
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans
  • Provide education and support to participants and their families
  • Document progress and maintain accurate records
  • Participate in educational programs and attend mandatory training sessions
Requirements:
  • Current Florida Occupational Therapy license
  • Certification with the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT)
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Occupational Therapist
  • Experience working with a frail or elderly population
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
