About the Role

Pendulum Staffing is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Multifamily Interior Designer to join our team. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality design solutions for multifamily projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work closely with the project's design team to develop and implement design concepts that meet the client's needs and expectations.
  • Collaborate with the Project Manager to ensure that design intent is met, and that projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Supervise and mentor junior designers to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge needed to deliver high-quality designs.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure that design solutions meet their needs.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and best practices to ensure that designs are innovative and effective.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited Interior Design program or a related design program with a bachelor's level degree.
  • Registered Interior Designer.
  • Minimum 5-8 years of experience in multifamily design.
  • Creative, collaborative, and able to thrive in a team atmosphere.
  • Demonstrated ability to produce high-quality, complete sets of drawings for complex projects using required software.
  • Strong understanding of building systems and building codes.
  • Strong organizational, coordination, and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead a team of professionals and consultants to meet project objectives on time and within scope and budget.
  • Competency in all aspects of design.
  • Demonstrated presentation skills.
