We are seeking a talented Field Claims Representative to join our team in Albany, New York. As a Field Claims Representative, you will be responsible for investigating and evaluating multi-line insurance claims, providing excellent customer service, and working collaboratively with our team to ensure accurate settlements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough claim investigations and interviews with insureds, claimants, and witnesses
  • Evaluate claim facts and policy coverage, and inspect property and auto damages
  • Prepare reports of findings and secure settlements with insureds and claimants
  • Use claims-handling software, company car, and mobile applications to adjust loss in a paperless environment
  • Provide superior and professional customer service
Requirements:
  • Availability and communicativeness during regular business hours
  • Desire to learn about the insurance industry and provide a great customer experience
  • Ability to work unsupervised and make decisions independently
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong interpersonal skills, and problem-solving skills
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel within the territory
Benefits:
  • Competitive salary range of $55,000 - $76,000 annually, based on education, experience, location, knowledge, skills, and abilities
