Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Bakery Maintenance Technician to join our team at Diedre Moire Corporation. As a key member of our Field Service team, you will be responsible for servicing and maintaining high volume bakery automated handling and packaging machinery at client factories in the US and Canada.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble, repair, troubleshoot, tune, and setup machinery to ensure optimal performance.
  • Inspect and resolve issues with mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, structural, automated, and similar components.
  • Train equipment operators and technicians on start-up, operation, shut-down, and cleaning procedures.
Components and Systems
  • BRAKES & DRIVES: Pneumatic Puck Style Brakes, Magnetic Particle Brakes, Low Tension AC Vector Drives, Servo Motor Drives, and similar.
  • Mechanical: Rollers, Gears, Sprockets, Bearings, Bushings, Wheels, Feeders, Belts, and similar.
  • ELECTRICAL: Motor Drives, Encoders, Speed Controllers, Tension Controllers, Power Supplies, Torque Controllers, Scales, and similar.
  • CONTROL & AUTOMATION COMPONENTS: Programable Logic Controllers, Control Panels, Sensors, Actuators, Motor Drives, and similar.
  • DRIVES & MOTORS: Stepper Drives, Servo Drives, Brushless Servos, Linear Motors, Rotary Motors, and similar.
  • HYDRAULIC & PNEUMATIC: Spray Injectors, Cylinders, Pistons, Pumps, Compressors, Tubing, Valves, Toggle Valves, Connectors, Actuators, Pneumatic Brakes, and similar.
  • STRUCTURAL: Floor Supports, Guard Rails, Stringers, Braces, Mounts, Joints, Frames, Counter Weights, Hoods, Seals, Brackets, Castings, Stampings, and similar.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 2-5 years of experience in field service, maintenance, and repair of high volume bakery automated handling and packaging machinery.
