Ultrasound Technologist Opportunity

MLee Healthcare Staffing and Recruiting, Inc is seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist to join our team at a reputable acute-care hospital in Texas.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Patient Preparation: Ensure patient comfort and safety during ultrasound procedures.
  • Equipment Operation: Skillfully operate ultrasound machines to capture high-quality images.
  • Schedule: Work three 12-hour shifts from 8:30 AM to 8:30 PM, Thursday to Saturday.
  • Image Analysis: Analyze and interpret ultrasound images to aid in diagnosing conditions.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of patient history and procedures performed.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to discuss findings and contribute to patient care strategies.
  • Maintenance: Ensure ultrasound equipment is well-maintained and report any issues promptly.
  • Patient Education: Clearly explain procedures to patients and provide follow-up care instructions.
Requirements:
  • Graduate from an accredited Radiology or Ultrasound program.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in ultrasound.
  • Certification from ARRT or ARDMS.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) provider certification.
  • Texas Medical Board-MRT certification or ARDMS certification.
  • Maintain a professional appearance at all times.
  • Ability to manage confidential information.
