Key Responsibilities- Process Development: Design and implement changes to manufacturing processes, ensuring the creation of standard operating procedures that enhance operational efficiency and consistency.
- Continuous Improvement: Gather and assess key performance indicators such as cycle time, storage efficiency, and yield to facilitate ongoing enhancements in both process and quality. Engage in Kaizen events to document and improve warehouse workflows.
- Layout Optimization: Evaluate and strategize workflow, equipment arrangement, and spatial requirements to boost the efficiency of warehouse operations.
Applicants should possess a Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related discipline, or an advanced degree with equivalent experience. A minimum of 3 years in a manufacturing or warehouse setting is required. Candidates should demonstrate the ability to create detailed layouts for equipment and processes, as well as proficiency in Lean or Six Sigma methodologies. Strong analytical capabilities are essential, along with the ability to collaborate effectively in a dynamic warehouse environment.
