Job Title: Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist Opportunity

Tidal Health Peninsula Regional is seeking a board-certified child and adolescent psychiatrist to join our team. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide psychiatric services for our child and adolescent inpatient acute care unit and partial hospitalization program.

Responsibilities:
  • Round daily on established caseload on the inpatient unit
  • Assist with the partial hospitalization program as needed
  • Provide stabilization, medication management, and supportive therapy to patients
  • Coordinate with patients' multi-disciplinary teams, including psychiatric pharmacists, social workers, and therapists
  • Participate in daily treatment team meetings to coordinate patient care
  • Adhere to service lines policies regarding treatment protocols, documentation, and productivity targets
  • Actively work with the program director to update and/or create policies and processes to improve unit performance
Requirements:
  • Board certification in child and adolescent psychiatry
  • Experience working with child and adolescent populations
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
