The role of the Welder entails performing welding operations on various components in accordance with client specifications and measurements. Welders are responsible for evaluating all completed welds for discrepancies in parts and components as dictated by customer designs. Duties also encompass assembling components using jigs or schematics and acquiring welding certifications as required by clients.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior welding experience is advantageous
- Expertise in welding and assembly processes
- Utilize welding equipment to join metals
- Accurately input data into job tracking and quality assurance software
- Conduct welding tasks within the production facility
- Uphold high standards of quality performance
- Fulfill traceability obligations
- Capability to weld various metals and execute repairs
- Communicate effectively with colleagues and supervisors
Employees must comply with safety protocols and physical demands, which include frequent physical activity, lifting, and operating machinery. The work environment may expose employees to various elements and necessitates the use of Personal Protective Equipment provided by the organization.
