Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced High School ELA Teacher to join our educational team. This role is essential in fostering a supportive learning environment that promotes student engagement and academic success.

Location: Williston, Georgia
Employment Type: Full-Time

Compensation: Competitive salary based on experience

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cover essential ELA concepts.
  • Provide individualized support to students to help them overcome specific learning obstacles.
  • Prepare students for state-mandated standardized assessments.
  • Supervise students in various settings, ensuring a safe and productive environment.
  • Maintain open communication with parents and school administrators regarding student progress.
  • Assess and grade student assignments as needed.
  • Monitor student performance to identify strengths and areas for improvement, offering constructive feedback.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by school leadership.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in education or a related discipline.
  • Possession of a valid GAPSC Georgia Teachers License with appropriate endorsements.
  • Out-of-State Teachers Licenses will be considered.
  • Expired Teachers Licenses that can be renewed over the summer are also acceptable.
  • Demonstrated teaching experience is required.
