Legal Advisor

Glovis EV Logistics America is seeking a highly skilled Legal Advisor to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for reviewing and analyzing contracts to identify potential risks and ensuring compliance with company policies and legal standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and analyze contracts to identify and assess potential risks.
• Engage in contract negotiations with vendors.
• Assist in resolving contract disputes and issues.
• Identify and mitigate legal risks associated with contract terms and business operations.
• Evaluate compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Ensure adherence to all relevant company policies and legal standards.
• Provide expert legal advice and consultation on contract-related matters.
• Prepare summaries, reports, and recommendations based on document findings.
• Collaborate with the finance department to align contract terms with organizational goals.
• Offer legal guidance to internal stakeholders on contract terms, obligations, and potential risks.
• Maintain organized records of all contract-related documentation and correspondence.
• Ensure all contracts are executed and stored in compliance with company policies.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• 4+ years of experience in contract review and negotiation.
• Strong understanding of contract law and legal terminology.
• Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Strong written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and contract management software.
• Solid organizational and multi-tasking skills with a high attention to detail.
