About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Speech Language Pathologist to join our team on a part-time basis. As a Speech Language Pathologist with South Pacific Rehab Services, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of patients and contribute to their rehabilitation and recovery.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive speech therapy evaluations and assessments to identify patient needs and develop personalized treatment plans.
  • Provide evidence-based speech therapy interventions to patients, including individual and group sessions, to improve communication skills and overall quality of life.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals, including physicians and occupational therapists, to ensure comprehensive care and coordination of services.
  • Document patient progress and outcomes, including treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries, to ensure accurate and timely communication with healthcare teams.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in speech-language pathology to provide high-quality care and services.
Requirements
  • Master's or Doctoral degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited university.
  • Current licensure and/or registration as a Speech Language Pathologist in the state where services will be provided.
  • Experience working with patients with a range of communication disorders and needs.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to providing high-quality patient care and services.
