PRIMARY PURPOSE
This role involves utilizing various hand and power tools, fixtures, and work instructions to execute a series of tasks for the accurate assembly and disassembly of components.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Adhere to detailed assembly guidelines, processes, and protocols
Assemble components by inspecting connections for proper fit, securing parts and subassemblies.
Disassemble components using hand and power tools.
Clean and polish components.
Wash components in solvent and operate parts washer.
Blow out parts to eliminate solvent and debris.
Capable of welding weights to motors.
Maintain a tidy and safe work environment in line with 5S standards.
Ensure that schedules are executed precisely as outlined.
Operate within standard operating procedures (SOPs) and Job Safety Analysis (JSAs).
Power down equipment when not in use.
Demonstrate attention to detail in a dynamic work setting.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or equivalent
Understanding of basic mechanics and machine testing protocols.
Specialized tools utilized in this position
Hand tools
Basic literacy and numeracy skills required
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Capable of performing repetitive tasks
