Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled School Psychologist to join our team on a per diem basis. As a School Psychologist with Soliant, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of students and educational professionals, providing comprehensive psychological assessments and interventions to support student success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct Comprehensive Assessments: Evaluate students' cognitive abilities, academic skills, social-emotional functioning, and developmental levels through comprehensive psychological assessments.
  • Interpret Assessment Results: Provide insightful analysis of assessment results to inform instructional planning, intervention strategies, and individualized education plans (IEPs).
  • Collaborate with Educational Professionals: Work closely with teachers, administrators, and other educational professionals to develop and implement effective interventions and behavior management strategies.
  • Provide Counseling and Support Services: Offer counseling and support services to students individually or in group settings, addressing a wide range of social, emotional, and behavioral concerns.
  • Consult with Parents and Stakeholders: Consult with parents, guardians, and external stakeholders to foster effective partnerships and support students' overall well-being and academic success.
  • Participate in Multidisciplinary Team Meetings: Participate in 504 meetings and Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings, contributing expertise in addressing students' needs and goal-setting.
  • Stay Current with Research and Best Practices: Stay up-to-date with research, best practices, and legal requirements related to school psychology and special education.
Qualifications
  • Master's or Doctoral Degree in School Psychology: Possess a Master's or doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • Valid License or Certification: Hold a valid license or certification as a School Psychologist.
  • Assessment and Intervention Skills: Be proficient in conducting psychoeducational assessments and interpreting assessment results.
  • Special Education Knowledge: Have a sound knowledge of special education laws, regulations, and procedures.
  • Behavioral Intervention Strategies: Possess a strong understanding of various behavioral intervention strategies and positive behavior support systems.
  • Confidentiality and Ethics: Demonstrate a commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to ethical guidelines.
  • Organizational Skills: Exhibit strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities effectively.
