Role Summary:

The primary responsibility of the part-time Retail Sales Representative (RSR) is to enhance Red Diamond's visibility in retail locations, particularly in the Fort Worth, TX area. Key responsibilities include:

  • Promoting the need for additional shelf space.
  • Establishing new distribution points.
  • Advocating for incremental display and promotional opportunities for Red Diamond's premium ready-to-drink tea.

This role is primarily conducted in grocery and mass merchandise store chains within an assigned territory. The RSR will focus on building and maintaining strong relationships within stores.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring all authorized products are adequately stocked and displayed.
  • Monitoring product rotation and condition.
  • Providing management with updates on new market items, competitive activities, and special events.
  • Reporting new opportunities within the assigned territory.
  • Conducting price checks and retail condition assessments regularly.
  • Participating in trade shows and community events to foster relationships and enhance brand visibility.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Exceptional sales and customer service abilities.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Understanding of retail sales and merchandising techniques.
  • Proficiency in personal computer applications and job-related software.
  • Ability to work independently and take accountability for results.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to changing environments.

Education and Experience:

A high school diploma or GED is required; a bachelor's degree in business or a related field is preferred, along with two years of relevant experience in retail merchandising, marketing, sales, or a related field. Experience in the grocery or convenience store industry is essential.
