The Role: Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Maintenance Technician to join our growing team. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the smooth operation and upkeep of our five apartment buildings, comprising 349 units across various Portland neighborhoods.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Execute work orders and unit turnovers efficiently and effectively.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with residents regarding maintenance requests and updates.
  • Collaborate seamlessly with the Maintenance Manager and fellow team members to achieve shared goals.
  • Demonstrate initiative and problem-solving skills to address maintenance issues promptly.

What We Look For:

We are seeking an individual with a proven track record in multifamily maintenance or construction. You possess a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering exceptional results.

  • Experience in all aspects of maintenance, including unit turnovers, remodels, and system repairs.
  • Proficiency in basic plumbing, electrical, and carpentry skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Spanish language proficiency is a plus.
