About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Manager to join our team at Prince William Sound Aquaculture Corp. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of our hatchery facility and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Facilities Management: Develop and implement preventative maintenance schedules for all facility buildings, including electrical, mechanical, and architectural systems.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Plan, manage, and conduct maintenance and repair duties for all hatchery equipment, including generators, pumps, and other machinery.
  • Supervision: Supervise maintenance assistants and technicians, providing guidance and support to ensure the successful completion of maintenance tasks.
  • Administrative Duties: Assist the Hatchery Manager in planning, budgeting, and documenting hatchery operations, as well as preparing and submitting reports and studies.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations related to hatchery operations, including safety and environmental standards.
Requirements
  • Education: Post-secondary training/education in an accredited vocational-training school in the building, mechanical, or electrical trade.
  • Experience: Three years of experience in building and plant maintenance work.
  • Skills: Considerable knowledge of standard tools and practices of various trades, including mechanical, electrical, painting, carpentry, and plastering. Ability to read and interpret documents, including safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
