Maintenance Technician Level I

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of production equipment and facilities. This role involves performing routine maintenance tasks, troubleshooting issues, and making repairs to maintain optimal equipment performance.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including cleaning, lubricating, and inspecting equipment
- Troubleshoot issues with production equipment and make repairs as needed
- Conduct preventative maintenance on equipment to prevent downtime and extend lifespan
- Collaborate with maintenance supervisor to prioritize tasks and ensure efficient completion
- Respond to emergency situations quickly and effectively
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- 3 years of maintenance experience in a factory/manufacturing setting is a plus
- Self-starter dedicated to continual quality improvement
- Ability to multi-task and work with minimal supervision
- Adhere to safety practices and guidelines
Able to sit or stand and walk throughout the scheduled work shift
Work EnvironmentThe work environment is a fast-paced, manufacturing job-shop. A variety of chemical baths are used on the manufacturing floor on a daily basis, and proper care and focus must be taken to ensure safety.
