Key Responsibilities- Resident Care Coordination: Use the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate resident care to meet their unique physical and emotional needs.
- Communication and Education: Establish and maintain effective communication with residents, families, and healthcare teams to provide for their specific learning needs.
- Care Team Leadership: Demonstrate accountability and leadership in the performance of LPNs and Nurse Aides to ensure quality of resident care and promote team collaboration.
- Collaboration with Physicians: Collaborate with physicians regarding resident condition, orders, treatment plans, and anticipated needs to ensure exceptional resident care.
- Quality Improvement: Comply with organizational policies, procedures, and practices to ensure quality job performance and regulatory compliance.
- Graduate of an approved school of nursing.
- Licensed Registered Nurse with the State of Ohio.
- Positive service-oriented interpersonal and communication skills required.
- Ability to assess data reflective of the resident status and interpret the appropriate information needed to identify each resident's needs.
- Ability to provide care needed as directed by policy and procedure within the scope of an RN license.
This position requires a full range of body motion with intermittent walking, lifting, bending, climbing, squatting, kneeling, twisting, sitting, and standing. The associate will be required to lift 50 pounds or more. This position requires individuals to lift above the shoulders. The associate must have corrected vision and hearing in the normal range. The individual must have excellent verbal communications skills to perform daily tasks.
