Job Title: Nurse Specialist

Salary: $65,000 - $90,000 per year.

We are seeking a skilled Nurse Specialist to join our team at the Grand Prairie Independent School District (TX). The ideal candidate will have strong clinical skills and experience working with students, staff, and families. This is a full-time position with opportunities for professional growth and development.

  • About the Job: Provide medical care and support services to students and staff as needed, including first aid, wound care, and medication administration.
  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Clinical Practice: Assess and treat minor injuries and illnesses; administer medications and immunizations; provide basic life support and emergency care.
  • Health Education: Develop and implement health education programs for students and staff on topics such as disease prevention, nutrition, and stress management.
  • Case Management: Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and other school staff to identify students who require additional support or resources.

Requirements: Current RN licensure in Texas; Bachelor's degree in nursing or related field; 2+ years of experience working in healthcare or education; excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
