**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Dual Director of Sales and Marketing to join our team. As a key member of our sales department, you will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies that drive revenue growth and enhance market presence for our hotels.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Conduct market research and identify new business opportunities to increase revenue and market share.
  • Negotiate and secure local corporate accounts, national accounts, and group blocks to drive hotel room sales and small-to-midscale events.
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue goals and market share growth, including attending relevant business networking events.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, corporate accounts, and travel agencies to drive bookings and increase brand loyalty.
  • Plan and execute sales events, promotional activities, and partnerships to boost hotel visibility and attract new business.
  • Conduct thorough market analysis and competitor research to identify opportunities and adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Generate proposals, contracts, and event orders, and collaborate with hotel departments to ensure proper planning, execution, and follow-up of all bookings.
  • Maintain detailed client communication records to ensure timely follow-up and re-booking opportunities.
  • Achieve annual sales goals and monthly budgetary figures.
  • Perform other duties as may be required within the sales department or within other departments.

**Requirements and Qualifications**

  • Bachelor's degree preferred, but not required.
  • Proven experience as a Sales Manager or Director in the hospitality industry, with experience in dual property or multi-location oversight preferred.
  • Ability to work during regular business hours, Monday - Friday, with occasional evenings and weekends, as needed.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office and sales information systems preferred.
  • Ability to speak, read, write, and hear fluent English required, other languages beneficial.
  • Professional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Mathematical skills, including basic math, budgeting, profit/loss concepts, percentages, and variances.
  • Problem solving, reasoning, motivating, organizational, and training abilities required.
  • Ability to prioritize and organize work assignments.
  • Ability to stand and walk; use hands and fingers to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms. Occasional stooping and crouching.
  • Ability to carry or lift items weighing up to 40 pounds independently, and ability to push/pull medium to large weights/objects.
