Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team at ProCare Therapy. As a School-Based Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in promoting students' independence, functional skills, and overall well-being.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate students' fine motor skills, sensory processing, visual-motor integration, self-care abilities, and other areas related to occupational performance.
  • Develop tailored treatment plans and goals based on assessment findings, IEP objectives, and input from parents, teachers, and other team members.
  • Provide direct occupational therapy services to students, including therapeutic exercises, sensory integration activities, adaptive equipment training, and environmental modifications.
  • Collaborate with teachers, speech therapists, physical therapists, and other professionals to integrate occupational therapy goals into students' educational plans and activities.
  • Monitor and document student progress, adjust treatment plans as needed, and communicate findings and recommendations to the IEP team and parents.
Requirements
  • Master's degree or higher in Occupational Therapy
  • Active State Occupational Therapy License
  • Experience working with children or adolescents in a school-based or clinic setting is preferred.
