Role Objective:
We are in search of exceptional talent to join the leading distributor of automotive and industrial replacement parts and value-added services, operating over 5,500 locations and serving more than 20,000 sites across North America. This position will serve as the senior engineer responsible for enhancing the operational efficiency of the current distribution centers. Collaborating with a skilled team, you will play a pivotal role in managing one of the largest operations in the automotive and industrial sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Delivery and Execution: Develop, test, deploy, and maintain software solutions with a focus on delivering value; Embrace new challenges with urgency and enthusiasm; Achieve consistent results even in challenging situations; Create comprehensive test suites to ensure successful and rapid deployment of code; Approach issues with a global perspective.

- Supports and Enables: Mentor junior developers by sharing knowledge on contemporary software development frameworks and leading technical discussions.
- Additional Duties: Perform other responsibilities as assigned.
- GPC offers flexible work arrangements, allowing eligible employees to adopt a hybrid remote work schedule.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Proficient in analyzing complex technological challenges and providing expert technical support throughout software implementations.
- Minimum of 2 years (5+ preferred) of SQL development experience in relational databases (DB2, Oracle, SQLServer).
- Minimum of 2 years (5+ preferred) of experience in software development or support for .NET applications.
- Familiarity with Windows Services and .NET services.
- Minimum of 2 years (5+ preferred) of experience in software development or support for C#.
- Actively participate in diagnosing and resolving system issues, troubleshooting, and offering technical solutions for Warehouse Management Systems.
- Ability to analyze application logs to identify and rectify errors.
- General understanding of Warehouse Management System concepts.
- Familiarity with Manhattan Associates WMOS software or similar WMS solutions.
- Experience in writing and troubleshooting integration services is a plus.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and systems.
