Hydraulic System Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Hydraulic System Specialist to join our team at Ohio Machinery Co. As a key member of our assembly and repair team, you will be responsible for rebuilding and repairing hydraulic cylinders using various tools and equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Rebuild and repair hydraulic cylinders using wrenches, air tools, torque wrenches, and hydraulically operated equipment
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of internal and external parts of hydraulic components
- Familiarize yourself with how hydraulic components work and operate
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required
- Three years of experience in a heavy equipment repair shop environment is required
- Related pump or cylinder shop experience is preferred
- Competencies in the use of wrenches, air tools, torque wrenches, and hydraulically operated equipment are required
- Knowledge of internal and external parts of hydraulic components, how they work, how they operate, and proper testing procedures are required
- Strong organizational skills are necessary
- Ability to work individually and with a team is required
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential

The functions of the position require lifting, carrying, and pulling up to 50 pounds. Standing and sitting up, moving up and down stairs, and climbing into machines will be required. Normal dexterity and repetitive and frequent movements that require hands, wrists, and fingers are also necessary. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet in office settings and moderate to loud in other situations, with both constant and sudden loud noises possible.
