Job Summary

CLA is seeking a highly skilled Lead Application Developer to join our growing internal IT team. As a key member of our software development team, you will be responsible for leading software development projects from conception to deployment, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to a high standard of quality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Designing software solutions that meet the needs of the business, considering the capabilities of the technology being used and the requirements of end-users.
  • Defining technical standards and collaborating with stakeholders to ensure software solutions meet the needs of the business.
  • Conducting research into emerging technologies and software development methodologies to stay up to date with the latest trends and best practices.
  • Mentoring junior team members and providing guidance and support as they develop their skills and expertise.
  • Ensuring software solutions are of a high standard of quality, conducting testing and quality assurance activities as needed.
  • Documenting software solutions, including requirements, design specifications, and user documentation.
  • Providing technical leadership and ensuring the team is working in alignment with best practices and industry standards.
  • Developing code and ensuring it meets the requirements of the software solution being developed.
Requirements
  • 10 years of application development and support experience, with a minimum of 5 years in a lead role.
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience acceptable in lieu of a degree.
  • Strong understanding of UI, cross-browser compatibility, general web functions, and standards.
  • Deep expertise and hands-on experience with web applications, frameworks, and programming languages such as React, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery, SaaS, and APIs.
  • Experience building MicroServices and working with containers (Docker).
  • Deep knowledge of Front-end frameworks such as Bootstrap, React, and AngularJS.
  • Experience developing within the.Net framework (ASP.Net, C#, WCF Web services, MVC).
  • Experience working with Azure environment, DevOps, SharePoint Online, Blob, Office 365.
  • Experience using a Database such as Postgres, SQL Server, mySQL, or mongoDb.
  • Experience with DevSecOps, Veracode, SonarQube, and Dynatrace.
