Job Summary:
As a Registered Nurse in the MICU Nights team at Grandview Medical Center, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care to critically ill patients. Your expertise and compassion will make a significant difference in the lives of our patients and their families.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate assigned patients and develop individualized care plans to meet their unique needs.
- Implement and document nursing care, ensuring that patients receive evidence-based treatments and interventions.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Perform various patient tests and administer medications within the scope of practice of the registered nurse.
- Teach patients and families about self-care skills, medications, and condition management to promote independence and empowerment.
Requirements:
- Associate's degree in Nursing or related field.
- Certification as a registered nurse (C-ARC-ALS, L-AL-RN License, C-AHA BLS Basic Cardiac).
