Monday-Friday morning start time between 5AM and 8AM (flexible) 3-4 hour shifts, 2-4 days a week

COC Consulting is seeking a skilled Phlebotomist to join our team in Tacoma, WA. As a Phlebotomist, you will be responsible for collecting patient blood and/or urine specimens using established procedures, ensuring specimen integrity, and preparing collected specimens for testing and analysis.
- Collect and process patient specimens in a timely and accurate manner
- Verify patient identities and requisitions before collecting specimens
- Label and document specimens for shipment to the laboratory
- Maintain accurate records of collections performed and supplies used
- Provide training to new employees on site-specific procedures
- Ensure a safe and healthy work environment by following standards and regulations
- Adhere to HIPAA regulations and maintain confidentiality of patient information
- Travel to additional sites as needed
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
- Phlebotomy certification from an accredited agency
- Computer and technology proficiency
- Valid driver's license and car insurance
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to pass a background check
- Proven ability to handle ambiguity in the absence of defined systems and processes
