Position: Inventory Manager

Location: Evolve Cannabis

About the Company:

Evolve Cannabis is a recreational marijuana store offering a variety of adult use marijuana products. We source our products from premier producers.

Job Summary:

The Inventory Manager is a key member of our team responsible for developing and procuring our product line. This includes conducting market research, locating and vetting suppliers, generating product requirements, determining specifications, pricing, and purchasing.

Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Product Line Development:
    • Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities
    • Develop and implement product line strategies to meet business objectives
  • Supplier Management:
    • Locate and vet potential suppliers
    • Negotiate pricing and shipping terms
  • Inventory Management:
    • Manage inventory levels and product assortment
    • Monitor sales trends and adjust inventory accordingly
  • Communication:
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication
    • Provide regular updates to management on product line performance

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, marketing, or a related field
  • 2+ years of experience in purchasing or related field
  • Skills:
    • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Physical Requirements:

  • Extended time standing, walking, bending, and reaching
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
