IT Project Manager, Infrastructure Specialist

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to join our IT Infrastructure team at Symbotic. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for planning and delivering IT infrastructure projects, ensuring timely and within-budget completion. Your expertise will be crucial in driving the success of our IT infrastructure initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, track, and communicate project status to internal and external stakeholders
  • Act as the SCRUM Master for multiple Agile Product teams, facilitating grooming, stand-ups, communication, and decision-making
  • Plan and track Beta Testing and User Acceptance Testing in partnership with Product Owners
  • Develop and maintain a highly functioning team by leading best practices for Project Management
  • Manage department and team plans, establishing clear goals and holding staff accountable
  • Participate in regular feedback dialog with staff members and manage corrective action as needed
  • Up to 50% travel may be required

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or engineering; advanced degree preferred
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in software development and engineering leadership
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in delivery management or program management
  • Experience leading an Agile Scrum team at a fast-paced technology company
  • Ability to troubleshoot details while maintaining a 'big picture' view
  • General knowledge of hardware and software technologies related to Symbotic's products
  • Ability to understand complex technical issues and facilitate resolution
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage high-pressure situations and build trust with stakeholders
  • Ability to input into product strategy in the context of Symbotic's business strategy
  • Ability to prioritize multiple simultaneous issues
  • Outstanding time management skills and attention to detail
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Self-motivated, proactive with a can-do attitude
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a rapidly changing startup environment
