Bench Grinder Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Bench Grinder Specialist to join our team in West Chester, OH.

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing various tasks related to grinding and inspecting parts, ensuring they meet the required tolerances. This is a safety-sensitive position that requires attention to detail and the ability to work effectively in a production environment.

• Visual Inspection and Repair: Perform thorough visual inspections of parts to identify any defects, nicks, or burrs, and repair them if possible.
• Equipment Operation: Operate various equipment, including jigs, fixtures, gages, calipers, micrometers, and height gauges, to determine the dimensions of parts and ensure they meet the required tolerances.
• Deburring and Rework: Use deburr guns, hand tools, and Grit Blasters to deburr and rework parts, ensuring they meet the required standards.
• Hand Adjusting: Make adjustments to parts to correct any defects or imperfections.

• Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a production or shop position.
• Mathematical Skills: Ability to use advanced math to add, subtract, multiply, or divide, and work with fractions, decimals, or percentages.
• Communication Skills: Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of personnel.
• Attention to Detail: Ability to follow complex instructions and/or directions, and make decisions on a course of action.
• Time Management: Ability to schedule and organize time effectively to satisfactorily complete assigned tasks.

This is a temp-to-perm position with a competitive salary of $23.32 per hour, plus a 15% shift differential. Qualified candidates are encouraged to apply.
