ADAPT MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL SERVICES is seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to join our team. As a Physical Therapist - Various, you will be responsible for providing evaluation, diagnosis, and therapeutic intervention to individuals with disabilities.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough physical therapy evaluations to assess individuals' muscle tone, strength, range of motion, and other physical abilities.
- Develop and implement treatment plans to help individuals achieve their goals and improve their physical function.
- Provide education and training to individuals and their families on adaptive skills and techniques to aid in daily living and vocational tasks.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and support.
- Document therapy activities and results in patients' records, and monitor progress to make recommendations for changes in treatment.
- Refer individuals to other clinical services as needed, and follow all regulations regarding service provision and billing.
- Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
- Current NY State license in Physical Therapy.
- At least two years of experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
- IPSIDD approval preferred.
