Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and repair all locks and security systems as needed.
  • Order and cut replacement keys as required.
  • Ensure the maintenance of our radio system, including batteries.
  • Manage the hotel door lock system, including in-room safes.
  • Oversee the employee badging system.
  • Provide administrative support, including scheduling and organizing activities for team members.
  • Develop and maintain filing systems, and retrieve information as needed.
  • Work independently and as part of a team on special projects, including planning and coordinating presentations, disseminating information, and creating brochures.
  • Develop and attend training sessions as needed, including sanitation, safety, and alcohol awareness.
  • Complete various forms, such as purchase orders and check requests.
  • Maintain confidentiality and perform reception duties as needed.
  • Sort and distribute mail, and maintain and service office equipment.
  • Courteously greet team members, patrons, visitors, and vendors, and direct them to the appropriate person or area.
  • Attend meetings, record and transcribe minutes, and distribute them as required.
  • Perform data entry and write detailed reports as needed.
  • Testify in court on behalf of state gaming boards.
  • Perform desktop publishing, including creating and developing visual, audio, and written presentations.
  • Answer and forward telephone calls, and provide routine information to callers.
  • Ensure the cleanliness of administrative break areas and conference rooms.
  • Type and design general correspondences, memos, charts, tables, graphs, business plans, and proofread copy for spelling, grammar, and layout.
  • Develop and promote standards of excellence, and adhere to all company policies and procedures.
  • Meet departmental or company project and assignment requirements and deadlines.
  • Adhere to all gaming laws and regulations.
  • Provide for the safety of team members, and keep areas clean and free of safety hazards, debris, and litter.
  • Assist team members with any job functions as necessary for the efficient management or administration of business.
  • Meet department uniform, appearance, and grooming requirements.
Requirements
  • One year of college or technical school, or a minimum of six months related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to prepare, read, and interpret documents, write reports and correspondence, and speak and communicate effectively with individuals and groups.
  • Ability to accurately calculate figures and amounts, and perform mathematical functions applicable to business needs.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
  • Must be able to qualify for any and all licenses or permits required by local, state, or federal law.
