Patient Support: Accurately identifies patients by confirming their name and date of birth before any interaction. Collects and records vital signs such as weight, height, blood pressure, pulse, and respiration rates. Reports any significant changes in patient condition to the appropriate healthcare personnel. Maintains confidentiality of patient information in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Engages with patients respectfully, providing clear explanations of care procedures. Quality Assurance: Actively participates in initiatives aimed at improving care quality, including data collection and supporting process enhancements. Ensures a hygienic and therapeutic environment by cleaning and preparing treatment areas, reporting any equipment issues promptly, and managing supplies efficiently. Complies with corporate policies and standards set by accrediting bodies while providing care. Pursues continuous improvement through participation in educational programs and skill development. Care Coordination: Manages patient flow to optimize physician efficiency, including scheduling and minimizing wait times. Conducts daily checks on medical equipment and supplies, ensuring everything is in proper working order and reporting any needs for replacement. Additional Responsibilities: Performs other related duties as assigned by supervisory staff.Qualifications
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
Experience: Strong communication and customer service skills
Licensure: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
