Position Overview:
The Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining cleanliness in resident rooms, bathrooms, laboratories, offices, and hallways, as well as delivering linens to various neighborhoods and managing personal laundry.
This role supports the hospital's commitment to excellence in patient care within a compassionate Christian environment, fostering positive employee relations and supporting departmental objectives.
Provide outstanding care and services to patients, residents, guests, and fellow staff members consistently. Perform all tasks in a manner that reflects the hospital's Catholic heritage and Avera's values of hospitality, compassion, and stewardship.
Deliver care/services in compliance with regulatory standards and Catholic Ethical and Religious Directives.
Certification and Licensure:
Full-time position.
- Certified Nursing Assistant within one year of hire.
Work Schedule:
6:30 AM - 2:30 PM, every other weekend/holiday; 30 hours per two weeks.
Compensation:
The hourly wage for this position ranges from $17.00 to $20.50, based on experience.
